New to the Family

Congratulations Christi and Byron!

Bob's sister, Christi, got married last month to Byron Nield. The reception was beautiful and there were many people there to wish them well. Towards the end of the evening Rex ran into the sharp corner of a wall and he was bleeding pretty badly. Eli came and found us and he was crying telling us that Rex was bleeding. (Eli is especially concerned with our family's well being, so he was pretty upset that Rex was hurt.) Rex had a good little cut above his eye and his lips were split and bleeding a lot. Rex HATES blood. Once he sees blood the injury is automatically 10 times worse. We calm him down enough to get home and as I am holding the ice on his lips he asks me, "Am I dying?" The poor little guy was scared. He wanted to cuddle the rest of the night. The very next week Bob took the boys to a basketball game and when they came home Rex had another band-aid on his forehead. Apparently he fell on the corner of one of the bleachers and had a puncture wound while there. Bob didn't bother calling me. He said he figured there was no sense of me worrying until they got home because he was fine. Ugh! Men. Anyway, Rex is going to have a lot of scars on his face. This now makes 4. That's ok because he is still a handsome devil.
